“A move to Salford would be good for Channel 4 and the UK, while providing a significant additional boost for the many media, creative and technology companies already enjoying global success from a base in Greater Manchester.
“By winning high profile work with international broadcasters and film producers, Greater Manchester companies, including Mackinnon & Saunders and Factory, are already flying the flag for the UK’s media and creative sector. This was demonstrated clearly by the Children’s Global Media Summit, which this month attracted high profile speakers and delegates from more than 40 countries to Manchester to discuss the future of children’s media and digital content.
