Group Strategy Director, Hobs plc

 

Mo is Director at Hobs Group Studio part of the Hobs Group operating across 26 offices in the UK.

Mo co-founded MYBIM – a partnership between Hobs and Birmingham City University established to help organisations transition to a digital 3D workflow in Construction and Asset Management.

Mo has an MBA and is a Chartered Manager, Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and has recently been made Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Previously Mo was Managing Director of MPG, a Digital Print and Document Management Company with headquarters in Manchester city centre.

Mo has also founded 3 Social Enterprise companies and has a supported a number of start-ups companies including Business Plus, established to create sustainable working relationships between corporates and charities.

Mo co-founded and is Vice Chair of Tauheedul Education Trust (TET).  The Trust operates predominantly in the most deprived and challenging parts of the country operating 25 schools primary and secondary.

Until recently Mo was also Chair of the Blackburn with Darwen Local Strategic Partnership (LSP), successfully leading the Borough’s 2020 Prosperity Plan.  In 2017 Mo was Awarded Enterprise Advisor of the Year by the Government’s Careers and Enterprise Company.

Mo has previously been a non-executive director of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and for six years served on the Department for Trade and Industry’s Ethnic Minority Business Forum.  Mo was also previously on the Corporation board of Blackburn College and Chair of Wensley Fold Primary School.
